I have kept scrap books since college and I needed a catalogue of the images and type I have collected for use in prints and illustrations. It is arranged into alphabetical sections for ease of use, each section starting with a list of my favorite words beginning with that letter.

The images are from advertising and popular culture mainly from the 1920’s until the 1980‘s and from all over the world. 

I am drawn to unsophisticated graphics and bright flat colours although I like things that are a bit ambiguous or just plain strange.

Eye Magazine featured one letter of the alphabet each Friday on the eye blog site.
